Mubasher: Mubarrad Holding Co recorded profits valued at KWD 743,000 ($2.45 million) during the fourth quarter of 2018 against losses worth KWD 542,000 ($1.79 million) in the corresponding period a year ago.
During fiscal year 2018, Mubarrad posted a decline of 9.2% in earnings to KWD 1.67 million from KWD 1.84 million in the previous fiscal year, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
The board members have recommended paying 5% of capital as cash dividends or 5 fils per share at a total value of KWD 779,440, in addition to distributing 5% of capital as bonus shares or 5-for-100 shares for FY18.
At the stock level, Mubarrad closed Sunday’s session 2.87% lower at 71 fils.
