Mubasher: The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has entered into a five-year strategic partnership agreement with Software AG, a leading technology solutions company, to utilise its Super iPaaS solution as a unified platform for integrating applications and data across.
Under the agreement, NBK is set to use Super iPaaS in its international locations, including KSA, UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, London, and France, according to a press release.
Mohammed Al Kharafi, Chief Operating Officer – Head of Group Operations and Information Technology at NBK, stated: “We are happy to sign this partnership with SAG, which will provide us with integration suite that serves as a unified platform, seamlessly integrating applications, data, API management for our operations.”
“This comes as we develop further our digital propositions into our international markets, marking a pivotal transformation towards increasing our operational efficiency” Al Kharafi added.
Rami Kichli – Senior Vice President – ME and Turkey at SAG, commented: “This signing with NBK is significant for two reasons. First, it extends our robust and successful strategic partnership with Kuwait’s leading bank…to modernise and refine its digital backbone to also include its international subsidiaries.”

NBK is operating through 140 branches, subsidiaries, and representative offices across 13 countries on four continents.
These locations include major financial centres such as London, New York, Paris, Geneva, and Singapore, along with Shanghai in China. The bank's regional footprint extends to Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, and Lebanon.
