Mubasher: Bahrain National Holding Company (NHB) announced on Sunday that it has signed an agreement with the Bahrain Bourse under which the latter is assigned as a share registrar for the shares of the company.
The agreement was signed on Thursday by the bourse’s CEO, Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, and the company’s CEO, Sameer Al-Wazzan.
The agreement commits the bourse to provide BNH with a package of services including maintaining an electronic record for shareholders of record as updating the data of ownership resulted from dealing on the company’s stocks.
According to data compiled by Mubasher, the number of companies that has assigned the Bahrain Bourse as a share registrar increased to five; which are United Gulf Bank, Arab Banking Corporation, Delmon Poultry, Al Baraka Banking Group and NHB.
