The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has finalized a land allocation agreement with Horizon Egypt for Urban Development to develop a major hotel and commercial complex in New Cairo. The project will rise on a 28-feddan plot, with planned investments surpassing LE 15 billion.
Ahmed Ali Mohamed Hassan, NUCA’s Deputy Chairman for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, said the agreement aligns with the state’s efforts to unlock greater value from investment land and channel it into projects that support economic growth. He added that the development will reinforce New Cairo’s status as a key hub for tourism, hospitality, and premium service industries.
Majid bin Saeed bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of Horizon, highlighted New Cairo’s strong economic fundamentals, modern urban planning, and growing demand for high-quality tourism and service facilities, noting that these factors make the city an attractive and sustainable investment destination.
