Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profit after Zakat and tax of National Gypsum Company decreased 19.8% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 14.19 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021 from SAR 17.71 million in the same period a year ago.
Earnings per share totalled SAR 0.45 in Q1-21, compared to SAR 0.56 in Q1-20, according to interim financial statements.
The net profit recorded in Q1-21 was 185.5% higher than SAR 4.97 million in Q4-20.
Annual revenues meanwhile shrank by 22.8% to SAR 27.01 million in Q1-21 from SAR 34.99 million in Q1-20.
On a quarterly basis, the revenues in the first three months of 2021 were higher by 9.5% than SAR 24.66 million in Q4-20.
National Gypsum said its accumulated losses amounted to zero by the end of March 2021.
