Riyadh — Mubasher: Natural Gas Distribution Company reported a 325.80% surge in net profit for the first half (H1) of 2026, reaching SAR 9.57 million compared to SAR 2.25 million in H1-25.
Earnings per share (EPS) rose to SAR 1.90 in H1-26 from SAR 0.45 in the prior-year period, according to a bourse filing.
Revenues increased by 6.06% to SAR 79.88 million in H1-26 from SAR 75.31 million, resulting from the adjustment in the natural gas service tariff, the addition of a number of new customers to the natural gas consumer base during the first half of the year.
This was in addition to a 4% decrease in operating costs and an increase in investment profit from the joint venture during the first half of the current year compared to the same period of the previous year.
Total shareholders' equity reached SAR 70.85 million at the end of H1-26, representing a 20.05% increase from SAR 59.02 million a year earlier.
The company noted that certain comparative figures were reclassified for more accurate presentation, with no impact on previously reported net income or retained earnings.
Meanwhile, the auditor issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
