Mubasher: The price of oil in global markets went up during Monday’s trading and reached its highest level since July 2015.
The price for Brent crude futures increased by 4.16% and registered $56.59 per barrel (pb) by 11:15 AM GMT.
Similarly, the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) grew 4.45% and recorded $53.79 pb.
On Saturday, the Organisation of Oil Exporting Countries (OPEC) reached an agreement with 11 non-OPEC major producers to limit crude output by 558,000 per day, beginning next January.
