Mubasher: Oman National Engineering and Investment on Monday reported a 543.8% year-on-year surge in the second quarter of 2017.
The engineering company achieved profits of about OMR 779,770 ($2.02 million) in Q2-17, compared to OMR 121,130 ($313,730) in Q2-16, according to a filing to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
In the first half of 2017, the Omani company achieved about 200% profit growth reaching OMR 1.26 million compared to OMR 420,290 in the corresponding period of 2016.
Oman National Engineering said it achieved a 44.7% total revenue growth in the six-month period ended June 2017 reaching OMR 25.89 million, compared to OMR 17.9 million in the same period of the year before.
The company had previously reported profits of OMR 482,240 in Q1-17, a rise of 61.2% from OMR 299,160 in Q1-16.
