Mubasher: Oman Oil Marketing posted a rise of 5.5% in its profits for the second quarter of 2016, according its unaudited financial results.
The company earned OMR 2.73 million ($7.02 million) in Q2-16, compared to OMR 2.89 million ($7.43 million) for the year-ago quarter.
In the first quarter of 2016, the company’s profits declined 19.7% year-over-year to OMR 2.12 million from OMR 2.64 million.
On a six-month basis, the company reported a 12.3% ramp-up in its profits for the first half that stood at OMR 4.85 million, compared with OMR 5.53 million for the year-ago period.
