Mubasher: Oman United Insurance Company posted turned profitable in the third quarter of 2016, according to a bourse statement.
Profits reached OMR 788,300 ($2.04 million) in Q3-16, against losses of OMR 40,800 ($105,530) in Q3-15.
The company generated profits of OMR 4.3 million in the first nine months of 2016, compared to OMR 3.16 million in the prior-year period.
Gross written premium rose 0.4% to OMR 31.6 million in the nine-month of 2016, compared to OMR 31.5 million in the same period of 2015.
