Mubasher: Oman International Development and Investment Company (Ominvest) said its profits decreased by 8.2% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2017.
The company’s profits fell to OMR 7.14 million ($18.48 million) in Q2-17 from OMR 7.78 million ($20.13 million) in Q2-16, according to a statement to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) on Thursday.
As for the first six months of 2017, Ominvest’s profits increased 10.8% to OMR 18.41 million, compared to OMR 16.61 million in the corresponding period in the year earlier.
The firm’s revenues rose 8.8% to OMR 117.81 million in H1-17, compared to OMR 108.26 million in the same period in the year before.
