Mubasher: Osos Holding Group Co reported a rise of 24.2% in profits during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period last year.
Earnings increased to about KWD 216,690 ($716,600) in Q2-18, from nearly KWD 174,480 ($577,000) in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.
During the first half of 2018, Osos posted a profit growth of 50.3% to approximately KWD 783,530, compared to around KWD 521,280 in the same half a year ago.
Osos clarified that the increase in H1 profits is attributed to an incline of nearly KWD 66,150 in the consolidated operating profits in addition to a rise of about KWD 473,060 in investments income.
