Manama – Sharikat Mubasher: Payten B.S.C. (c), a Bahrain-based alternative payments provider operating under the Pay10 brand, announced expanding its operations in the Kingdom as it looks to accelerate the adoption of digital payments among consumers and businesses.
As per the company’s press release, this move builds on the launch of the Pay10 Bahrain consumer app and the Pay10 Biz Bahrain app for merchants in April. Licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain as an Ancillary Service Provider, the company aims to provide secure, interoperable, and cost-effective payment solutions that support the Kingdom's digital economy.
The Pay10 Biz Bahrain app enables SMEs and merchants to accept digital payments, monitor transactions in real time, and access faster settlement cycles through a competitive pricing model. Meanwhile, the Pay10 Bahrain app allows users to send and receive money, make local bank transfers, pay merchants using QR codes, and manage daily transactions through a single platform.
Commenting on this, Harry Gill, Pay10 Founder and Chairman, said Bahrain's strong fintech ecosystem and supportive regulatory environment make it an ideal market for Pay10's regional expansion. He added that the company aims to build trusted payment infrastructure that promotes digital commerce, financial inclusion, and a cashless economy across the Kingdom.
