Petrol Naas announces 46% plunge in H1-26 net profit

Riyadh — Mubasher: Naas Petrol Factory Company (Petrol Naas) reported a 46.19% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit during the first half of 2026, with earnings falling to SAR 1.56 million from SAR 2.90 million in H1-25.

The company attributed the profit compression to higher cost of sales and a reduction in quantities sold, according to the income statements.

Revenue decreased by 22.27% to SAR 30.18 million in H1-26 when compared to SAR 38.83 million in the prior-year period.

Petrol Naas stated that the SAR 8.65 million drop in sales was primarily driven by regional geopolitical developments that negatively impacted the company's sales volumes during H1-26.

Earnings per share (EPS) fell to SAR 0.52 in H1-26 from SAR 0.97 a year earlier.

Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, rose slightly by 1.15% YoY to reach SAR 61.63 million.

Petrol Naas also disclosed that earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to SAR 3 million in H1-26. Moreover, the auditor issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
