Mubasher: Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company (QGIRC) on Monday announced that World Trade Center Qatar has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China Chamber of International Commerce.
World Trade Center Qatar is fully owned by Qatar General Holding, which is a wholly subsidiary of QGIRC.
The MoU, which was signed on Sunday 25 March, aims at creating trade and investment opportunities between both parties at the national and regional level, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
Through the agreement, QGIRC eyes experience and information exchange between the two parties, in addition to participating in the economic prosperity in Qatar and the achievement of its 2030 vision, the statement showed.
The MoU will boost relations between Qatar and China, QGIRC said.
