Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index ended Monday’s trading with a fall of 0.10% or 10.75 points to the level of 10,839.73 points.
Trading volume rose 65.3% to 5.57 million shares from 3.37 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also increased 56.3% to QAR 248.66 million from QAR 159.11 million.
The index was pressured by the fall in Commercial Bank of Qatar, Industries Qatar and Masraf Al Rayan by 0.84%, 0.8% and 0.27% respectively.
The real estate sector grew by 0.22%, supported by an increase of 0.42% in Barwa Real Estate.
The telecom sector also rose 0.2% as Ooredoo leapt 0.4%, while Vodafone Qatar shrank 0.6%.
Meanwhile, the transportation, consumer goods and banking sectors fell by 0.8%, 0.29% and 0.15% respectively.
