Doha-Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened in the green on Tuesday, rising 0.43% or 50.13 points to reach 11,729.83 points.
Al Rayan Islamic index gained 0.23% to reach 4,551 points, whereas QE All Share index added 0.35% to stand at 3,135 points.
Turnover reached QAR 23.91 million after 610,800 shares were traded through 471 transactions.
The insurance sector led gainers as it added 2.32%, followed by the telecom (+0.97%), real estate (+0.88%), banks and financial services (+0.12%) and industrials (+0.04%).
The consumer goods and services sector was the top loser after falling 0.29%, followed by the transportation sector which retreated 0.11%.
Qatar Insurance Company gained 3.23% to be the best performer, while Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding topped decliners with a decrease of 2.33%.
