Riyadh — Mubasher: Qassim Cement Company reported a net profit of SAR 157.72 million for the first nine months (9M) of 2026, marking a 17.46% decline from the SAR 191.07 million recorded in 9M-25, according to the income statements.
The company attributed the downturn to lower average selling prices and a decrease in sales volumes, alongside higher operating costs driven by increased fuel prices since the start of the year.
Operating profit for the nine-month period stood at SAR 164.72 million, down by 17.03% from SAR 198.53 million.
Earnings per share (EPS) for the period were SAR 1.44, compared to SAR 1.74 in 9M-25.
Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, was reported at SAR 2.55 billion as of 30 September 2026, representing a 4.70% decrease from SAR 2.68 billion.
For the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, Qassim Cement generated net profits worth SAR 37.22 million, a 10.08% decrease compared to SAR 41.39 million in the prior-year quarter.
Quarterly revenue fell by 26.60% to SAR 181.17 million in Q3-26 from SAR 246.83 million in Q3-25, as a drop in cement sales volume offset an improvement in average selling prices.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, Qassim Cement posted a lower net profit that reached SAR 120.50 million when compared to SAR 149.68 million in H1-25.
