Mubasher: Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Company reported a 593.6% year-on-year surge in profits of the fourth quarter of 2018.
The firm’s profits amounted to QAR 2.15 million ($594,100) from October to December 2018, up from QAR 310,000 ($85,700) in Q4-17, according to a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
During the full-year 2018, Qatar Cinema achieved an 8.2% rise in profits, logging QAR 8.45 million, compared to QAR 7.81 million during 2017.
Earnings per share (EPS) reached QAR 1.35 last year, up from QAR 1.24.
