Mubasher: Qatar Oman Investment posted a 35.3% year-on-year drop in its losses for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2018.
The Qatari firm reported losses of QAR 790,000 ($218,200) in the three month-period ended last December, compared to losses of QAR 1.22 million ($337,000) in the year-ago period, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) on Thursday.
For the full-year 2018, Qatar Oman Investment’s profits fell 53.1% to QAR 4.38 million, against QAR 9.33 million in 2017.
Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 0.14 for the 12-month period ended last December, versus QAR 0.3 for a year earlier.
The Qatar-based firm’s board of directors recommended a cash dividend distribution of 3% of the share’s nominal value, or QAR 0.30 per share.
During the first nine months of 2018, Qatar Oman Investment’s profits registered QAR 5.17 million, from QAR 10.55 million in the year-ago period.
