Mubasher: Qatar Oman Investment Company on Monday reported QAR 1.23 million losses in the fourth quarter of 2017 compared to profits worth QAR 680,000 in the same period a year earlier.
Net profit stood at QAR 9.33 million in 2017 versus QAR 13.37 million the previous year, according to a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE)
Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 0.30 for the period ended in December 2017, down from QAR 0.42 in the same period the year before.
In the first nine months of 2017, the firm’s profits reached QAR 10.56 million, against around QAR 12.69 million in the prior-year period.
Moreover, the board recommended dividend distribution of QAR 0.5 per share, which represents 5% of the company’s capital.
