Riyadh — Mubasher: Riyal Investment and Development Company invited its shareholders to attend an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) that will be conducted via modern technology to discuss and vote on proposed amendments to the company’s bylaws.
The EGM is scheduled to be held at 18:30 on 13 September 2026, according to a bourse filing
The primary agenda item involves amending Article 15, which governs the management of the company.
The proposed change seeks to extend the term of the first board of directors appointed by the founders from four years to five years.
Other provisions of the article no. 15 include the requirement for the board to consist of six members and to meet at least four times per year, all are expected to remain unchanged.
The meeting will be valid if attended by shareholders representing at least 50% of the company's voting shares.
Electronic voting for the assembly items is scheduled to begin at 1:00 on 9 September 2026 and will continue until the end of the meeting time.
Shareholders registered in the issuer's records at the Depository Center by the end of the trading session preceding the EGM are eligible to participate and vote.
In June 2026, Riyal Investment held its Ordinary General Assembly Meeting (OGM) during which shareholders approved the financial results for the 2025 fiscal year.
