Rubex International’s Q1 losses shrink 87.5%

Cairo – Mubasher: Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing incurred net losses worth EGP 972,405 during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, down by 87.5% from EGP 7.79 million in the same period a year ago.

The company has achieved a surge of 50% in sales at EGP 38.22 million in Q1-21, compared to EGP 25.53 million in the first three months of 2020, according to a disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange on Sunday.

Rubex International posted a loss per share of EGP 0.03 in Q1-21, compared with EGP 0.39 in Q1-20.

During 2020, the listed company turned to losses at EGP 1.26 million, against net profits worth EGP 6.67 million in 2019.
