SABIC, Lenovo partner to bolster industrial innovation

Riyadh — Mubasher: Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC)and Lenovo signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the LEAP 2026 to explore opportunities for strategic collaboration that support industrial innovation.

The MoU reflects the shared commitment of both companies to support the Kingdom's transformation into a global hub for innovation and advanced industry, according to a press release.

The partnership sets a framework for both companies to identify areas of mutual interest, leveraging their expertise to accelerate the development of advanced industries and innovative technological capabilities in Saudi Arabia and beyond.

Under the MoU, the two companies will explore opportunities to foster industrial development, knowledge transfer, and technological advancement.

Abdulrahman Shamsaddin, SABIC Executive Vice President, Petrochemicals, commented: "The Kingdom is undergoing a significant industrial transformation, and partnerships such as this can play an important role in accelerating the development of advanced capabilities, fostering knowledge exchange, and creating new opportunities for sustainable economic growth."
