Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi banks have not received instructions or orders from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) on freezing accounts of Saudi Oger, Al-Hayat newspaper reported.
Any action to be taken by SAMA in this regard will be officially announced, the newspaper cited Talaat Hafez, secretary general of the media and banking awareness committee.
National Commercial Bank (NCB) have obtained a court order against the Saudi Oger, following a similar move against Saudi conglomerate by Samba Financial Group in July, according to earlier news reports.
