Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) has received a notification of contract award for a school transportation project in Jubail Industrial City valued at SAR 470.20 million.
The contract, awarded by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, includes value-added tax, according to a statement.
Under the terms of the agreement, the company will provide comprehensive school transport services within Jubail Industrial City for a duration of five years. The official award notification was received on 9 July 2026.
The company confirmed that there are no related parties involved in this transaction. This project aligns with the transport provider's ongoing operations to expand its service footprint within the Kingdom's industrial hubs.
Further developments regarding the final contract signing and the expected financial impact will be disclosed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Last June, SAPTCO won a SAR 241.47 million project agreement with the Al Madinah Region Development Authority.
