Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia Refineries Company (SARCO) has appointed Obaid Saad Al Subaie as the Chairman of the board for three years.
Abdulaziz Abdulmohsen Al Bakr was named as the Deputy Chairman, according to a bourse filing.
In addition, the company announced Abdul Rahman Ahmed Al Mufarreh as the CEO. Al Mufarreh succeeded Khalid bin Mohammad Al Qazlan, who assumed the position in April 2023.
The three officials took over their roles for a new session, which commenced on 25 January 2024 and will end on 24 January 2027.
The company’s board members greenlighted the appointments during their meeting that was held on 30 January.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2023, SARCO logged net profits after Zakat and tax valued at SAR 2.66 million, an annual drop of 84.50% from SAR 17.20 million.
