SDAIA launches SmartC Visual Pollution platform

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) launched the national platform for urban landscape enhancement, SmartC Visual Pollution, in partnership with the Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing.

SDAIA launched the platform during the Global Smart City Forum 2024 that takes place in Riyadh from 12 to 13 February.

The platform focuses on monitoring and analyzing visual pollution using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

It also targets identifying visual pollution data and raising the quality of life to recognize Vision 2030’s objectives.

The Global Smart City Forum 2024, organized by SDAIA, features a dynamic program comprising keynotes from over 100 esteemed international and local speakers, including Saudi ministers and senior officials.

The two-day forum covers various tracks: Planning the Green Cities of the Next Century; Govern Data-Driven Smart Cities; The Future of Urban Mobility; Disruptive Innovations; Smart Public Services; and Global Cities.

It includes workshops to provide participants with hands-on experiences and practical knowledge, fostering interactive learning and collaboration.
