SDAIA launches groundbreaking data centers in Riyadh

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) launched several digital infrastructure expansion projects and data centers in Riyadh.

The first-of-their-kind projects were launched by SDAIA’s President Abdullah Alghamdi in the presence of Esam Alwagait, Director of SDAIA’s National Information Center (NIC), and other SDAIA officials and leaders, according to the authority's recent statement.

The new data centers boast an electricity capacity of 65 kilowatts per cabin and feature highly efficient power and mechanical systems.

These projects aim to raise the capacity of data centers and enhance their operational efficiency, in conjunction with SDAIA’s strategy to establish sustainable data centers with best global practices and standards approved by Uptime Institute, the global digital infrastructure authority.

Uptime Institute focuses on improving the performance, efficiency, and reliability of business-critical infrastructure through innovation, collaboration, and independent performance certifications.
