Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA) issued new guidelines on the safe use of generative AI tools for individuals and government entities, a recent statement revealed.
The new guidelines complement existing rules and regulations on AI ethics, data governance, privacy, security, intellectual property, and human rights.
The new guidelines aim to help government entities, companies, and individuals keep pace with the fast changes taking place in digital technology.
The two documents cover data usage related to integrity and fairness, reliability and safety, transparency and interpretability, accountability and responsibility, privacy and security, humanity, and social and environmental benefits.
Furthermore, SDAIA’s document for individuals discussed the risks of generative AI and how to mitigate them.
AI tools can be applied to various areas, including marketing, banking, healthcare, media, entertainment, energy, real estate, tourism, and more.
