Cairo – Mubasher: Six of October Development and Investment (SODIC) registered net profits after tax and non-controlling interest valued at EGP 1.37 billion in 2023, an annual leap of 164% from EGP 520.05 million.
Total revenues amounted to EGP 10.32 billion in 2023, higher by 32% year-on-year (YoY) than EGP 7.81 billion, according to the consolidated financial statements.
During the January-December 2023 period, the EGX-listed firm sold 1,984 units, generating gross contracted sales of EGP 30.26 billion, up 42% from EGP 21.29 billion in 2022.
Earnings per share (EPS) increased to EGP 3.85 last year from EGP 1.46 in 2022.
Meanwhile, the total assets hit EGP 38.71 billion as of 31 December 2023, marking an annual growth from EGP 30.38 billion.
Standalone Financials
SODIC turned profitable at EGP 456.36 million in 2023, compared to standalone net losses after tax amounting to EGP 477.68 million in 2022.
The revenues jumped to EGP 4.46 billion in 2023 from EGP 3.30 billion a year earlier, while the EPS stood at EGP 1.28 when compared with a loss per share valued at EGP 1.34.
In January-September 2023, the consolidated net profits attributable to the owners of SODIC jumped YoY to EGP 547.57 million from EGP 433.51 million.
