Sahat Almajd witnesses 43% profit surge in H1-26 on new branches

Riyadh — Mubasher: Sahat Almajd Trading Company recently announced its interim financial results for the six-month period ended on 30 June 2026, reporting a net profit of SAR 11.87 million, according to a bourse filing.

The earnings in the first half (H1) of 2026 represented a 42.804% increase compared to the SAR 8.31 million recorded during the same period in the previous year.

Meanwhile, earnings per share (EPS) rose to SAR 0.30 in H1-26 from SAR 0.24 in H1-25.

The company’s revenue grew by 15.135% to SAR 114.86 million in H1-26 from SAR 99.76 million in the prior-year period.

Sahat Almajd attributed the top-line growth to expanded sales in the local market following the opening of several new points of sale.

Pricing policy adjustments and product cost optimizations also contributed to higher sales volumes and improved competitiveness.

Profitability was further supported by a reduction in the cost of goods sold as a percentage of revenue and gains from financial assets at fair value. These gains outweighed a 25.2% rise in financing costs, primarily linked to interest on lease liabilities for new branches.

Total shareholders’ equity increased by 56.45% to SAR 113.77 million in H1-26.

Meanwhile, the independent auditor's report was issued with an unmodified opinion.
