Mubasher: Salam International Investment Limited (SIIS) reported a 24.1% year-on-year fall in losses for the third quarter of 2018.
Net losses amounted to QAR 16.3 million in Q3-18, compared to QAR 21.5 million in Q3-17, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) late on Monday.
For the first nine months of 2018, losses of the logistics company hiked 671.01% to QAR 28.9 million, from QAR 3.8 million in the same period of the prior year.
Revenues plunged 13.6% year-on-year to QAR 1.9 billion during the January-September period of 2018.
Losses per share (LPS) recorded QAR 0.25 for the nine-month period ended September, versus QAR 0.03 for the same period the year before.
For the first half of 2018, SIIS’s losses rose 68.2% year-on-year to QAR 4.44 million.
