Saudi Arabia reports 1,334 new COVID-19 cases

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Health announced 1,334 additional COVID-19 infections on Wednesday.

There were 1,079 more recoveries and 11 new fatalities, according to an official statement.

Saudi Arabia has registered a total of 522,108 cases since the pandemic escalated last year, of which 502,528 have recovered and 8,200 passed away.

The ministry added that over 25.52 million COVID-19 vaccine shots were administrated in the Kingdom until press time.

The country will be banning unvaccinated individuals from entering public places and events as of 1 August.
