Saudi Avalon Pharma to open 4th manufacturing plant in 2026

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Avalon Pharmaceuticals, the Saudi pharmaceuticals manufacturing company, plans to expand in the Kingdom and open its fourth manufacturing plant in 2026, the company announced in a press release.

The new plant, Avlon 4, will be located in the industrial city of Riyadh and will focus on different forms of complex and high- tech medications such as Oncology & General Injectables.

The Chairman of the Board at Avalon Pharmaceuticals, Ahmad Al Tabbaa, said: “This new factory plant will allow Avalon Pharma to enter a new and elite segment of medicines like anticancer and other injectable products. and we look forward to its realization over the next three years.”

Meanwhile, Mohamed Maher Al Ghannam, the Managing Director and CEO of Avalon Pharma, stated: “As we are positioned at this point of growth and expansion for our company with Avalon 4, we look to both extend our influence, regionally and globally, in addition to continuing our deep investment towards our local customers.”

“We look forward to achieving new heights with the addition of our fourth manufacturing plant as we continue this journey,” Al Ghannam added.

The new plant is expected to create more than 100 jobs and launch more than 75 new products for the Kingdom, being manufactured for the first time.

The portfolio of Avalon Pharmaceuticals currently includes 75 brands encompassing health care products, cosmetics and personal care products, and pharmaceutical drugs.
