Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Chemical Company Limited, a subsidiary of Saudi Chemical Company Holding, commenced commercial production at its military industries complex on 31 August 2026.
The transition to commercial operations follows the completion of all operational readiness requirements, including the verification of systems, equipment, and raw material availability.
The facility focuses on the production of TNT, following a successful trial phase concluded on 28 April 2026, which yielded the first batch of materials meeting international military specifications.
The company confirmed that the project progressed according to its natural development sequence after the trial period, with no material changes to the previously approved project budget.
Management expects the financial impact of the commercial production launch to materialize in the company's financial statements starting from the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2026.
This milestone marks a significant development for the subsidiary as it begins supplying materials that adhere to certified international military standards.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, the listed company’s net profit grew by 10.57% to SAR 167.78 million from SAR 151.74 million in H1-25.
