Riyadh — Mubasher: Saudi Energy Company has inked three agreements at LEAP 2026 to drive digital infrastructure for data and AI centers in Saudi Arabia and meet their growing energy needs.
The deals focus on providing reliable and resilient energy infrastructure to meet the growing power requirements of data and AI centers, as the Kingdom accelerates the development of its digital economy and advanced technology sectors.
Under the first agreement, National Grid SA and HUMAIN will cooperate on supplying electricity to HUMAIN’s AI data center project in Riyadh. This covers the project’s electrical infrastructure and is intended to accommodate its future energy requirements.
Saudi Electricity Project Development Company (PDC), a unit of Saudi Energy, also signed a framework agreement with center3 to establish a strategic partnership in future data center and energy infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.
In a third contract, PDC signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Huawei to enhance cooperation on data and AI center projects, digital infrastructure, and related energy solutions. The agreement also covers the exchange of engineering and technical expertise and the exploration of future collaboration opportunities.
At the end of June 2026, the listed group recorded net profits valued at SAR 6.72 billion, an annual rise of 7.53% compared to SAR 6.25 billion.
