Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s National Housing Company (NHC) has signed a contract with South Korea's NAVER Cloud Platform to implement smart city solutions on the digital twin platform Baladi.
This collaboration aims to leverage global best practices in the municipal and housing sectors by utilising cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and advanced cloud services, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The integration will enable the development of sophisticated digital solutions in major cities across Saudi Arabia, including 3D maps, simulation models for urban planning and flood management, and monitoring and control centres.
This partnership underscores NHC's commitment, as the leading developer of residential communities, to enhancing digital capabilities in the municipal and housing sectors.
It also aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, promoting a sustainable future that meets the aspirations of its citizens.
In May 2024, NHC penned 20 agreements with local and international companies on the sidelines of the Real Estate Supply Chains Forum.
