Riyadh – Mubasher: The general reserves of the Saudi government have decreased by 15.85% on an annual basis in July 2021 when compared to the same month last year, according to official data by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
The reserves declined by SAR 77 billion to SAR 355.501 billion in July this year from SAR 422.489 billion in the same month in 2020.
On a monthly basis, the government’s reserves went up 0.04% or by SAR 143 million in July compared to SAR 355.358 billion in June 2021.
SAMA earlier announced that the assets have reached SAR 1.849 trillion ($493.05 billion) at the end of July 2021.
