Cairo – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's total investments in Egypt amounted to $6.3 billion in 2017, trade and industry minister Tarek Kabil said.
Saudi investments in the North African nation were distributed over 4,274 projects and the kingdom acquired 22% of total Arab investments in Egypt, Kabil added.
Egypt pumped about $1.1 billion in investments in the GCC nation in 2017 distributed over 1,043 projects.
The Egyptian minister noted that bilateral trade between the two Arab nations is seeing a major growth as their mutual merchandise trade exchange reached about $3 billion in 2017.
