Saudi oil exports hit six-month high in July

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s oil exports increased to 7.65 million barrels per day (bpd) in July, hitting the highest level in six months since recording 7.75 million bpd in January, according to official data on Thursday.

The exports volume was higher by 327,000 bpd than 7.32 million bpd in June, and 6.93 million bpd in May.

On an annual basis, Saudi oil exports in July surged by 15.26% or 1.01 million bpd compared to 6.63 million bpd in the same month in 2020.

The increase in oil exports was backed by a growth in crude oil exports by 362,000 bpd, as the Kingdom registered 6.32 million bpd of crude oil in July, compared to 6.58 million bpd in January.
