Mubasher: The Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company achieved a growth of 53.9% in profits during the fourth quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings increased to BHD 600,000 ($1.53 million) in Q4-16 from BHD 390,000 ($997,260) in Q4-15, according to a bourse filing issued on Sunday.
During fiscal year 2016, profits rose by 21.7% to total BHD 1.91 million from BHD 1.57 million in FY15.
Ship Repairing’s board members recommended a cash dividend of 50% or 50 fils per share for the fiscal year.
