Riyadh – Mubasher: Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) turned to net losses worth SAR 860.50 million in 2025 against net profits of SAR 426.10 million in 2024.
The loss per share stood at SAR 1.19 in 2025, versus earnings per share (EPS) of SAR 0.59 in the previous year.
Moreover, Sipchem posted 3.55% lower revenue at SAR 6.80 billion in 2025 compared to SAR 7.06 billion in 2024.
The company elaborated that the revenue declined in 2025 compared to the previous year was primarily due to a decrease in the selling prices of some of products and reduction in sales volumes resulting from the periodic turnaround maintenance activities of International Methanol Company.
It is worth noting that in the first nine months (9M) of 2025, Sipchem also shifted to net losses of SAR 442.60 million, while its revenue declined as well to SAR 5.24 billion.
In late 2025, the company appointed Al Zamil and Al Rajhi as the Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively, until December 2029.
