Smart Grid Conference 2023 launches in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh – Mubasher: The 11th edition of Saudi Arabia Smart Grid Conference kicked off on 18 December 2023 under the theme ‘Towards Grid of the Future’ at Riyadh Hilton.

More than 120 local, regional, and international speakers are taking part in the three-day event which will end on 20 December, according to a press release.

In addition, over 2500 participants and 70 exhibitors are part of the Smart Grid Conference this year to discuss opportunities to promote products, services, ideas, and business in a bid to attract the attention of the regional governmental, scientific, business, and technological community.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy, inaugurated the conference which covers the latest updates and challenges in the grid industry along with its cutting-edge technologies.

It is worth noting that Hitachi Energy is a platinum sponsor at the event, as part of the company’s commitment to supporting the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 through innovative energy solutions as well as sustainable development initiatives.
