Cairo – Mubasher: South Valley Cement Company incurred net losses amounting to EGP 194.65 million in 2023, an annual drop from EGP 208.74 million.
Sales increased to EGP 877.42 million last year from EGP 873.73 million as of 31 December 2022, according to the financial results.
The EGX-listed firm registered a loss per share valued at EGP 0.40 in 2023, compared to EGP 0.43 a year earlier.
Total assets hit EGP 7.12 billion as of 31 December 2023, up year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 4 billion.
In the January-September 2023 period, the net losses after tax reached EGP 63.10 million, down from EGP 83.81 million a year earlier.
