Riyadh - Mubasher: Southern Province Cement Company announced the partial acceptance and handover of its new production line at the Jazan cement plant.
This development follows the company’s previous update on 30 December 2025, regarding the construction of the facility designed to replace existing production lines.
The partial handover marks a significant phase in the project’s execution plan.
According to the company, the remaining components of the project will be completed and handed over in accordance with the established timeline.
Southern Province Cement expects to conclude all handover procedures and commence full commercial operations for the entire project before the end of 2026.
The project is part of the company's strategy to modernize its manufacturing infrastructure. The company confirmed that there are no changes to the associated costs at this stage of development.
Further updates regarding the completion and operational status will be disclosed as the project progresses toward its year-end target.
In January-June 2026, the company’s net profits rose by 5.26% to SAR 20 million from SAR 19 million in the first half (H1) of 2025.
