Cairo – Mubasher: Speed Medical Company (SPMD) switched to consolidated net losses of EGP 84.75 million during the first nine months (9M) of 2022, versus net profits of EGP 164.35 million in the year-ago period.
Loss per share during 9M-22 amounted to EGP 0.075, compared to earnings per share (EPS) of EGP 0.14 in 9M-21, according to a bourse statement.
The company’s revenues decreased to EGP 104.29 million in January-September 2022, compared with EGP 296.15 million in January-September 2021.
As for the standalone business, Speed Medical turned to net losses of EGP 78.01 million in 9M-22, against profits of EGP 166.31 million in the prior-year period.
During the first half (H1) of 2022, the company turned to a consolidated net loss of EGP 74.90 million, versus net earnings of EGP 88.21 million in H1 of last year.
