Sukoon to provide Takaful coverage to Emiratis up to 95 years

Dubai - Mubasher: Sukoon Takaful has partnered with the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program (SZHP) to introduce a Family Takaful scheme for eligible UAE Nationals.

As part of the program, Sukoon Insurance and Sukoon Takaful will join UAE insurers offering coverage up to 95 years old, according to a press release.

Launched at a signing ceremony in Dubai, the scheme will also allow Emiratis up to 70 years old to access housing finance with terms of up to 25 years through leading UAE banks.

Ahmed M.A. Abushanab, CEO of Sukoon Takaful, stated: “With extended age limit, we are addressing a key market gap and reaffirming our commitment to customer-centric plans tailored to local needs.”

As of 31 December 2024, Sukoon Takaful swung to profitability, reflecting the success of strategic initiatives carried out during the year, including portfolio optimization, cost efficiencies, and a renewed focus on core competencies.

It also underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its position as a leading player in the region’s takaful market.
