Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended the last trading session of the week on a positive note, as the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) surged by 2.73% or 221.66 points and closed Thursday at 8,345.77 points.
Traded volumes amounted to 183.5 million shares, traded through 174,561 transactions, with a total turnover of SAR 4.6 billion.
As for the stocks’ performance, 193 stocks ended the session in the green zone, with Hail Cement leading the gainers and surging by 10%.
On the other hand, only stocks ended the session in losses, namely Jarir and Extra, losing 0.71% and 0.27%, respectively.
Major market sectors also recorded noticeable gains, as materials and banks added 3.12% and 3.08%, respectively, while energy gained 2.45%.
Saudi Aramco was the most actively traded stock with 25.87 million shares and a turnover of SAR 897.203 million.
Meanwhile, the Nomu Parallel Market soared by 4.05% and closed at 6,688.05 points.
