Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) will commence its trading activities on Monday, 25 September, after a three-day weekend.
Tadawul has closed on Sunday, 24 September, on the occasion of the Saudi National Day Holiday, according to an official announcement.
Trading was discontinued at the end of the trading day on Thursday, 21 September.
The Saudi National Day Holiday in 2023 fell on Saturday, 23 September, as Saudi Arabia celebrated its 93rd birthday under the slogan We Dream and We Achieve. In 1932, leader and founder of modern Saudi Arabia the late Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman, known as Ibn Saud, issued a decree that united the Kingdom of Najd and the Hejaz under the name the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Accordingly, the unification day on 23 September has been celebrated since then as it marked the birth of the nation.
